About Us
Women of Qatar is a project founded with the purpose of highlighting the many achievements of Qatari women. By narrating the stories of pioneering Qatari women, and casting a light on the struggles and barriers faced on their way to success, be it social, political or cultural. We hope to uncover the rarely witnessed but ubiquitous roles of women in Qatari society.
Our Mission
To create a network that inspires female Qataris and encourages them to be more active by illustrating the prominent footprints that their predecessors have embedded while paving the way for their success and integration in the public sphere.
Our Vision
To foster a stronger community among Qatari women as form of empowering one another, and embed Qatari women into the historical narrative of Qatar and the international scene.
